When in the presence of any Paul & Joe Beauté product, you can’t help but put your hand to your chest and exclaim, “Awww!” That is exactly what I did when I opened my Holiday 2013 Limited Edition Eye & Cheek Color Set from Paul & Joe Beauté!
Each set comes in a precious cat-print pouch complete with a warm, wintery Eye Color Duo, an Eye Gloss for a touch of holiday cheer and a lipstick in the shape of a cat! I don’t even want to use it on my lips. Just look at that face!
I get giddy whenever I look at Paul & Joe Beauté cosmetics. The clean and fresh Parisian designs and cat motifs are forever present in each collection. The Eye Color Duo is housed in a swivel container with two shimmery shades: a warm orange and iridescent green (found in the Sugar & Spice 001 set I reviewed; Gingerbread 002 contains sugary sweet shades).
The two colors really pop once the Eye Gloss is used as a base. This is one shimmery liquid eyeshadow — a favorite among beauty bloggers for added dimension and staying power to your eye look. I love the little cat sticker on the front, as it holds a lot of product as well.
Last but not least is that adorable lipstick! A paper case shows playful kittens lounging about, but once you twist it up, an adorable pink cat pops up!
The bag itself is rather spacious, adorned with a purple tassel conveniently attached to the end of the bag and not on the zipper. It will surely hold more than just the items it comes with.
