In Brief Reviews: Dial NutriSkin Replenshing Lotions, Mama Mio High Protein Face Care, PCA Skin Sunscreen

Our new series, the “In brief” section, will showcase some of our favorite latest and greatest products of the season. Here’s what the office is all abuzz about:

dial nutriskin lotions

Dial NutriSkin Replenishing Lotions are chock-full of important vitamins in a creamy Bio-Nutrient Complex. Your skin will soak up Vitamins A, C & E and Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Says dermatologist Dr. Jody Levine of Plastic Surgery and Dermatology of NYC about the lotions, “What distinguishes this lotion is that they contain antioxidants and ceramides…great to find in a drugstore brand.” She recommends you apply the lotion right after you shower since showering dries out the skin. These lotions come in a range of varieties for different skin types (there is also one for men).

pcaskin water resistant cream

PCA Skin Sunscreen: This gentle yet effective sunscreen line is formulated with zinc oxide and chemical sunscreen ingredients that shield the skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays. What we love about this brand is the several types of elegant sun protection products, from the light-as-a-feature weightless protection with SPF 45 to our favorite, the hydrator plus spf 30. For active swimmers and beach bunnies, there is a very water/sweat resistant version with spf 45. They retail for $24-34 and you can purchase them at authorized retailers found online. Best of all, their products now have the Seal of Recommendation from the Skin Cancer Foundation.

mighty moisture mama mio

Mama Mio High-Protein Face Care: The London-based skincare company launched new products for the face in March 2011. The High Protein Face Care line features: Mighty Moisture Day & Night Moisturizer ($60); Clean Slate Protein-Rich Cleanser ($32); Eye Know High-Protein Eye Serum ($45); Love Your Life Lines Deep Line Reducer ($55) and Nexercise Neck & Jawline Concentrate ($50). We love that each product comes with “Mama Mio’s Little Book of Confidence” that includes 60-second exercises for your 57 facial muscles. Our favorite star product? The Eye Know moisturizing serum which seriously IS all that. A miracle cure all, it cures dehydration and puffiness and the Whole Nine Yards in just a few uses.

Tell us what new skincare products you’ve been obsessed with…we’re nosy like that.

Dial NutriSkin lotion does improve skin elasticity i always used it on dry parts of my body and it works very well, but months ago my eyelids started sagging. I started putting some on my eyelids a week later my eyelids were firm ,tight and back to normal. Im so happy that my eyelids dont sag anymore :).
