Review, Ingredients: Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil Makeup Remover

The new Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil, $8.99, is a lightweight oil said to, “completely clean skin and remove make-up, even waterproof mascara, with no greasy residue.” Using oil to clean your face? Sounds kind of strange, right? But in fact, after trying it a few times, I discovered that this blend of fine oils (it has a lovely, slightly fruity scent) acts like a magnet to easily and effectively extract oil and impurities. I applied it with the pump, and then removed with cotton puffs. I rinsed my face, but did not use any soap or other cleanser afterwards. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my skin was soft, supple and very, very clean.

  • Non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores)
