Garnier Skin Active Soothing Facial Mist with Rose Water | $8.99

This newly introduced product promises to “lightly hydrate, leaving skin soothed and refreshed.” Made with rose water, this facial mist is said to “instantly hydrate and refresh skin, even after makeup.” The product can be used “as a moisturizer to hydrate, before makeup as a primer, after makeup to set it, and anytime throughout the day to refresh skin.” There is no need to rinse and it is suitable for sensitive skin!

I love anything made with rose water, so I was eager to give it a try. I used it after a sweaty workout at the gym. The fragrance was delicate and lovely, and it cooled and refreshed my skin. I also tried using it after I’d applied my makeup and it did set the makeup nicely. It also gave my skin a dewy radiance.

However, it should be noted the third ingredient is alcohol, so I don’t see how it could be used as a moisturizer. This makes no sense at all. Instead, it’s best used as a pick-me-up throughout the day or right after the application of makeup!
