Fall is in the air, and that means BeautyStat’s favorite nail expert Tracylee giving us the lowdown on some of fall’s hottest nail trends. Read on to see which nail trends will be hot this season, with most of the new colors and nail effects hot off of the runways from New York Fashion Week. This fall nail season is all about textured nails with subtle yet interesting accents of either color or shine. Metallics kick off the chilly season nicely with high impact shine, while neutrals take a more drastic route with colored tips. Almost Black
Deep, rich, ‘almost black’ red, blue and green nail colors were seen all over the runways, and will sure make a statement this season. Layer Sally Hansen’s Wined Up over Onyx to create this look seen at Catherine Malandrino.
Neutrals
Neutral nails are still going strong with nude opaques being paired with colored tips, seen at Thakoon and Donna Karen — and gray giving neutral a bit of NYC chic. Try Alexander Wang by Sally Hansen in Bandage or Ion.
Texture, Metallics & Jewel Tones
