Thermafuse loves the Heat…and Hair.

Here’s a truly inconvenient truth for you: Blowdrying and heat-styling make hair look fabulous, but they exact a heavy toll from healthy tresses. Thermafuse has busted onto the scene with a full line of products that include their patented HeatSmart complex.

This combination of silicone and wheat protein both coat and absorb into individual hairs. The products protect hair from heat styling, but more than that, heat activates the product for optimum results.

The Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner did their jobs well, and the Intensive Repair Mask gave my thirsty hair a long drink of water.

After blowdrying with their Fixxe Mousse, I had shiny, soft locks. The sad letdown came from their Uphold Aerosol Spray. It had a sticky, crunchy texture that ruined the lovely silkiness its sister products created.

A note about competing products: Thermafuse claims this formula is new and unique, and indeed it is the only product I’ve found to contain wheat protein. However, Sunsilk’s Thermashine products (formerly known as Thermasilk) claim to have the same heat activated properties, while they use silicone and silk protein with an added boost of UV filters to ward off damage from that other heat source — the sun.

Visit www.thermafuse.com to find a salon that sells these completely oh-so-worth-it products. Pick your product preference (Moisture, Strengthen, Volume, ColorCare) and use blowdryers, straightening irons, and hot curlers with abandon!
