24 Nov MAC Cosmetics: Pink 4 Friday with Nicki Minaj
MAC Cosmetics has always loved artistic collaborations (I’m sure you remember with great fondness, the VIVA Glam partnership with Cindy Lauper and Lady Gaga earlier this year; well, we certainly do).
And you know it’s most likely to snap up major league talent and channel their artistic vision into creamy lipsticks and beauty baubles that are true collectibles.
This Thanksgiving (to be technically correct, the day after Thanksgiving), MAC Cosmetics will debut their “Pink 4 Friday” lipstick that is a collaboration with Trinidadian Hip Hop diva Nicki Minaj. If you haven’t listened or watched the video Your Love, you’re missing out.
The Minaj shade of bubblegum pink reminds us of Gaga’s VIVA Glam shade (below), and the lipstick will be sold on 4 Fridays only starting on November 26, 2010, while supplies last. Minaj says that she loved MAC Cosmetics’ Pink Nouveau lipstick for years, while now, the spotlight on Pink Friday is clearly around the corner.

I do hope to be able to pick this shade up in my mac store though. I loves me pinks!
