Makeup Review, Swatches: Estée Lauder French Nudes Nail Polish Collection – Lacquers To Match Your Skintone

“I chose these shades to suit every type of woman — her skintone, her personality, her point of view,” says Creative Makeup Director of Estée Lauder Tom Pecheux.

Tom Pecheux can do no wrong in my eyes and his work is always on-trend and very flattering on all skintones. This new French Nudes Collection proves this all to be true (hitting Estée Lauder counters nationwide as well as esteelauder.com beginning March 2013).

You have five new Pure Color Nail Lacquer ($20.00 each) shades in Bittersweet (pictured), Diabolique (pictured), So VainNudité (pictured) and Ballerina Pink.

“This collection is like foundation for nails, it’s all about enhancing nails rather than making a big statement with color.”

The rich chocolate browns, milky beige and soft pink hues are clean and sophisticated looking; they come in natural shades to extend and elongate fingers! There are also shades that contrast with your skintone to give a more dramatic and daring look.

It’s fresh and modern to me, and I am seeing more and more nude colors for nails again. I love the idea of elongating my fingers, so I shall first try Nudité ! I never thought of nail lacquer in this way before and these new colors make for the perfect monochromatic manicure.

The Diabolique would look most closest to my skin tone
