05 Mar Skincare Review, Ingredients: Jao Hand Refresher Sanitizer And Goe Body Oil – Healthy, Natural, All-Purpose Products
Peace, love & Jao is my new saying, as I have been obsessed with their product line ever since a dear friend, Karim Orange, introduced me to the brand. I have been using their Hand Refresher ($7.00, $11.00 and $16.00, depending on size) all winter along with their Goe Oil ($40.00), and not only is it a smell I embrace, but the products are paraben-, sulphate-, phthalate-, mineral oil-, silicone- and fragrance-free (of synthetic fragrances that is)!
Please note that there is a scent to the hand sanitizer, as it blends sage, geranium, lavendar, etc. and I love it. It does NOT smell like any other brand of hand sanitizers I have ever used before. Their product line www.jaoltd.com are only tested on lucky humans and not on animals at all!
The Hand Refresher is a makeup artist fave, as it’s not drying and obtains its ethyl alcohol from grapes to kill germs safely with no bacteriostats that weaken over time or grow resistant to germs.
I had been told by a pharmacist that my addiction to Purell was not in my favor, as I had grown an immunity towards the product after continuous usage! Hand sanitizers do kill gems, but supposedly, after time, your body becomes immune to the products. BeautyStat’s very own founder and cosmetic chemist, Ron Robinson had this to say about hand sanitizers and the Jao Hand Refresher,
“The FDA does acknowledge that recent research raises ‘valid concerns’ about the possible health effects of triclosan, there is no evidence to recommend changing consumer use, says Robinson.
“This hand sanitizer is triclosan-free, but does contain a high enough alcohol content (over 60%), which is considered high enough to kill most harmful bacteria and viruses.”
Awarded the Elle Green Star Award for Best Hand Sanitizer, I do hope you’ll agree when I say it’s a better choice than a lot of other products out there.

The Goe Oil is a combination of twenty-eight plant, fruit and flower oils and butters. It replaces the body’s natural oils that tend to be lost due to age, environmental stress and weather. It has been written up in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and dozens of blogs and magazines around the world.
After my shower, I apply it all over my body and can be applied on the feet, anywhere and everywhere. Goe Oil is a solid oil, so if it is ever difficult to push out the product, just soften the tube by rolling it in your palms — your skin will feel the difference as it soaks up 100% of this purely natural oil. Posted at 17:12h, 06 MarchI normally wash my hands over using a sanitizer, but that oil sounds AMAZING!! I wish you listed what wonderful “twenty-eight plant, fruit and flower oils and butters” it has because now my curiosity is more heightened than quenched… I must try it!

Posted at 01:21h, 14 SeptemberGoe oil is a smell that cannot be beat!!! It is so hard to find nowadays — which is terribly sad because it is the absolute best product ever. I am currently pregnant and wishing there was a retailer close by (it used to be carried at a store an hour away, but they no longer have it 🙁 ) because I believe it would be the perfect stretch mark cream. My husband farms and gets super dry/chapped/ripped up hands, and goe oil makes them soft and nice again. It is kindof a miracle cream really…
