Comfortable, creamy and fluid - or so the packaging says - but anything made by Clarins not only comes in a pretty package (in this case it's a frosted glass pump with a gold cap), it delivers with more reliability than Fedex Priority Overnight. The new...

Philosophy's marriage to color cosmetics was a little delayed but Hallelujah and raining snowflakes it has happened! You can get the pink-toned Color of Grace collection on QVC, and we're loving some favorites like the ones below: Coloring Book: $37.50 Not Your Boyfriend's Shaving Brush Art of Blushing...

Well, it really was bound to happen. With American Apparel launching their own line of nail lacquers to Target and Walmart expanding their beauty offerings, you knew it wouldn't be long since the fashion-forward Kate Moss-inspired clothing store TopShop started offering cosmetics. The news broke in today's edition of WWD, and in a nutshell, the beauty offerings will come in two varieties: a core line (97 skus), and a seasonally inspired line. TopShop Cosmetics Line The pencil line etchings on the outerwear of the packaging gives you a doodled version of the contents inside. So Le Petit Prince and kids books in a way, where there's a certain glamor to the naivete of the packaging.
Well, Shrek's seen a long journey folks. From Shrek (which I loved) to Shrek 2 and beyond, it was just the typical franchise minting money situ, you know. And now OPI, which recently is flying with silver wings (or Tim Burton wings) with its wildly successful Alice in Wonderland collection is launching Shrek Forever, a collection of six nail lacquers whose tones range from a dark, deep lavender to a pale yellow called Fiercely Fiona. Take a look at the colors and let us know if you're loving them: Who the Shrek Are You: a truly Shrek green that I can only truly see in the summertime. OPI Shrek Forever Collection Who the Shrek Are You Funky Donkey: A dark purple that's positively psychedelic and my kind of shade. OPI Shrek Forever Collection Funky Donkey OPI Ogre The Top: Seriously not sure if this is more Ogre or seaside, but it's a cobalt blue. OPI Shrek Forever Collection Ogre The Top What's with the Cattitude? Is a lovely pale blue - the color of a soft summer's sky. Not sure what it has to do with Shrek or the cat (Banderas).

This is truly one of the best collections I've seen that is Makeup for Dummies worthy. The Bobbi Brown Color Strips Collection launches in time for Spring 2010, and each strip has hand-picked shades that complement each other beautifully for eyes, lips and cheeks. There are...

Butterflydiary shows you the stunning range of nails and shades at the Marc Jacobs Fall 2010 Fashion Week shows. Clumps of Mascara tries CoverGirl's Smoky Shadow Blast. So it really a blast though? Just in time for fashion week, Krasey Beauty has a legendary hair experience with...

No one wants to be as pale as alabaster during the summer months. I'm all for porcelain, white swans and Snow-White complexions but the truth of the matter is most fair-skinned goddesses (and I swear I went through a phase in my childhood where I...

Guerlain Summer 2010 Teracotta Collection Oh these browns, these dark sienna colors are driving me crazy because they remind me of all the foods and places I adore: cafe lattes, the color of the sand in Goa, India, the shade of clay pots drying in the sun (hence the name Terracotta). The Guerlain Summer 2010 Terracotta Collection has: 1. Six gorgeous Guerlain Terracotta lip glosses with SPF 15. Feast your eyes on them, darlings, because I'd like to drink them up in pitchers because the colors range from sand to a raspberry brown. And the Oriental packaging, with the pentagonal handle, is a beaut. 2. The luminous bronzed moisturizer (Terracotta Teint D’Ailleurs) contains SPF 10, and let me tell you, skin going naked without SPF in the summer is like you going to the office with no clothes on. No bueno. Guerlain Summer 2010 Teracotta Collection
This is a guest post from my lovely friend, Diane Az from The Beauty Alchemist. Chris Benz Fall 2010 Chris Benz Fall 2010
Chris Benz's inspiration for Fall 2010 Fashion Week was the Outward Bound Debutante. The girl who gets in trouble at her private school and gets sent to wilderness camp. You know her, the one who takes her stillettos , not realizing she'll not quite need those.
Chris Benz Fall 2010
While backstage I not only got to meet the friendly and extremely calm Mr. Benz , but also a peek at a few pieces hanging on the racks. I love the plaid , it's retro, almost 60s, but I love plaid and the jeweled collars were such a wow. There was also a great metallic infused knit top, that is classic american sportswear. ( But please don't ask about those fur mittens. I don't do fur and I really don't do those).
Chris Benz Fall 2010 Daniel Martin of Lancome created the look , along with Chris and calls it Gothic Chic. He went for a brown lip, very 90s, but made more modern. To get that lip he used a brow pencil and then a new for fall bronze lipstick. He explains the brow pencil technique in my video, posted separately. We have been seeing and he agreed, that this is an upcoming trend possibly. An also new for fall eyeshadow was used and the blush is one of my all time favorites- Cappucine.
