Posted at 19:19h, 19 Maymothers day is special to me, not because it is the one day that my kids shower me with gifts or that my husband waits on me hand and foot but it is special to me because I grab a nice hot cup of tea and prop my feet up and go through my kids baby books and give myself a pat on the back for raising some really amazing kids. I am very proud of them and they show me how appreciative they are just by being them everyday.

Sadly, i never get her anything mainly because I don’t have money, but she understands and always says “the best mother’s day gift is for you to appreciate what i’ve done for you.” I really love my mom and all that she has done for me

Mother’s Day is so special to me because watching them make my breakfast takes me back to all those mornings spent making breakfast for them… One daughter gave me a pedicure and my other daughter cleaned my car inside and out! Wow! How wonderful to have a day where moms are celebrated and appreciated!!
