Truth or Dare by Madonna is a floral fragrance, with a proprietary blend of narcotic florals, balanced with addictive woods and vanilla. The idea of the fragrance is something dark and edgy yet modern. The bottle, especially, is a rare beauty in today’s world of slightly more predictable packaging: a classic, sophisticated yet clean shape with details that are truly iconic and edgy. The scent will come in a 75 ml EDP ($68), a 50 ml EDP ($55) a Body Lotion and Shower Gel.
Lancôme‘s latest fragrance, Tresor Midnight Rose, is a sweeter rendition of Parisian intrigue compared to the original. It’s about Paris at its dusky violet glow, and at its best when lovers come out of the shadows.
The perfume is about the sweet floral with tangy notes of raspberry and sparkle and petals of jasmine and peony freshened with blackcurrant bud absolute and intense pink pepper. There is also the rose absolute which are part of the original Tresor. Then there’s vanilla, a warm favorite, which mingles with musk and Virginia cedar essence.
The fragrance is available now and retails for $44 to $75 at Lancôme counters and lancome.com.
