This once a week treatment is applied to wet hair after shampooing and conditioning. Colour Refreshing Gloss restores vibrancy and tonal dimension between coloring, while counteracting fading, neutralizing color change and correcting the appearance of dull, washed out colour.

FROM THE EXPERT: “I always recommend glosses to my clients between coloring — it gives hair that fresh, just-colored look without the damage,” says John Frieda® International Creative Consultant Harry Josh. “I love the new Colour Refreshing Glosses because they actually restore lost pigments that are customized to a women’s hair tone, bringing hair back to its true, brilliant color.”

Red is in this year! And not just for lips. Fiery, vibrant, coppery reds are the “it” hair color of the season.

FROM THE EXPERT: “This year has been all about that statement, fire engine red,” explains John Frieda® Creative Colour Director Nicola Clarke. “Red is going to continue to be a big trend next year, but we’ll see a softer, more natural version of the standout color.

From the runway to the red carpet, I’m expecting a lot of rich reds with a bit of a yellow tint for a healthy, natural effect. The colors in the new Salon Trends Collection range from fresh, coppery, blonde tones to deep, rusty reds, giving you a first look at the must-have shades of the year.”

From the Precision Foam Colour Collection, the NEW Salon Trends shades feature proprietary foam technology for exceptionally even coverage — the kind of flawless colour previously only available at the salon.

The thick, dense foam formula spreads easily and saturates thoroughly to cover even the most difficult-to-reach areas, ensuring precise application, optimal penetration and superior results. No mess, no drips, no stains — just gorgeous salon-caliber color at home.

You know those little tubes of conditioner that come in your at-home hair-coloring kits? Well, John Frieda has made a full-sized version of those very conditioners. I know that I always steal my mom’s tube when I’m in the shower — even though I don’t dye my hair!

Hailed as a moisture-boosting, color-locking miracle, the Precision Foam Colour Intense After-Colour Conditioner became an instant cult favorite among those in the know, thanks to its salon-strength conditioning agents. The nourishing conditioner seals in color for long-lasting tonal richness and soft, shiny texture, with each and every use.

Containing glycerin, babassu oil and rice milk, the formula smooths, repairs and boosts shine. Like a salon colour conditioner, Intense After-Colour Conditioner provides the same level of conditioning you would expect from the salon.

And for you blondes out there, brassy color is the inevitable enemy. Neutralize yellow-orange tones for bright, brilliant blonde with the Sheer Blonde Colour Correct Anti-Brassy Cleansing Treatment. Over time, daily washing can strip blonde hair of its color pigments, leading to a brassy, yellow-orange color instead of a just-colored, vibrant, pure blonde.

Now you can reverse and banish brass by replacing your daily shampoo with the NEW 6-in-1 Sheer Blonde® Colour Correct Anti-Brassy Cleansing Treatment 3Xs a week. The innovative treatment neutralizes brassiness, brightens blonde, revitalizes color, cleanses hair, softens strands and boosts shine.

FROM THE EXPERT: John Frieda® International Creative Consultant, Harry Josh explains, “All color fades, but blonde dyes not only fade but also shift towards that dreaded yellow and orange-looking spectrum.

To counteract this effect, you not only need to neutralize these brassy tones but also perk up and brighten your colour to get that coveted, straight-out-of-the-salon look. Blondes will love the new John Frieda® Sheer Blonde® Colour Correct Anti-Brassy Cleansing Treatment because it allows them to keep their precious blonde strands looking just how they like them.”

I just used the one for warm red shades tonight on my medium auburn hair, and it did indeed add more of a “fiery copper” color as it says it would do. Good product, if you want quicker please try Tress Watercolors Color Maintenance Shampoo, also in many colors, I like Brick Red, sometimes mixed with the Molten Bronze to get just the right shade I want, you can adjust the levels of each one if you mix them in a little bowl for a text run. The John Frieda you have to shampoo and condition and THEN do the gloss and wait a few more minutes. The good thing is they all wash out eventually. They are ammonia free and peroxide free, so you don’t fry your hair. I use the John Frieda Colour Protecting Shampoo and Conditioner too, and a couple times a week to make hair feel soft and great I use the Redken Diamond Oil line. Shampoo, conditioner and a kind of “mask” in a little tub called deep facets, it is awesome to reconstruct your dry hair from dyeing and styling. My favorite home hair dye is Clairol Expert Collection, Age Defy. It has this great pretreatment to use first, I use the color Medium Auburn 5R. I’m a natural blonde, so these work for me to keep bright auburn hair. Hope this helps someone!

The last time I colored my hair I used a cleansing conditioner to help keep the red in. Even when the bright red washed out, I still received compliments on the color. And tonight I just colored it with the John Frieda Red Copper Canyon. I cannot wait until it dries so I can see the final result. I always air dry my hair. I plan on using my cleansing conditioner again. I always try to wash and condition with natural products.

My hair is getting dull, dry and brassy since last few visits to have colour. Why? Even though I’ve had in between hair treatment.
    Using expensive products as well.
    Appreciate your reply
    Cheers

I purchased this, not to refresh current color but rather to help tone down brassiness in some old high/low lights and restore some shine – it’s been about a year and a half since I’ve put any color in my hair and I am planning on keeping it that way. I used the “Cool Brunette” color refreshing gloss and my goal was achieved. The smell is great and my hair feels softer too, overall very pleased with this product. I did leave it on longer than the recommended 3 minutes, probably about 7 in total.

I think it’s important for people to be realistic when buying this product, it’s not a vastly noticeable difference and I don’t believe that’s what is intended to be.
