Looking for an easy on-the-go hairstyle? We spotted the best ponytails and braids on the NYFW Fall/Winter 2017 runways. These looks are a snap to create and are no fuss, which will help you get out the door in no time!

At the Maki Oh show, Nate Rosenkranz used Alterna Haircare for these cool braided ponytails.

Get The Look:

Apply Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Replenishing Moisture Milk throughout the hair to moisturize, soften and detangle the hair.

Next, create a perfect center part and isolate the hair on each side of the head

Starting at the front of the head closest to the part, create a large cornrow box braid down towards the nape of the neck on each side. Apply Alterna Bamboo Silk-Sleek Brilliance Cream while braiding to add shine and control.

Tease the ends of the braid and shape into beautiful balls, falling right at the collar bone.

Finish the look by spraying Alterna Kendi Dry Oil Micromist for added shine and frizz control.

Lead hair stylist, Jon Reyman created a modern take on Victorian styling at the Leanne Marshall show with the AVEDA team and Olivia Garden International hair tools. The low textured ponytail was created with various smaller ponies cascading into one another for a fun twist.

We loved the low ponytails seen at Carolina Herrera and Tory Burch that were accented with chic black bows.
