27 Feb Kerastase Specifique Hair Care

This purifying cleansing clay deeply, yet gently, cleanses and purifies the scalp. It helps to balance the sebum level on your hair. It also removes pollution and impurities without stripping your hair. It leaves your scalp feeling invigorated and refreshed. It also has a root lifting effect so it adds some volume to your tresses. Plus, it smells absolutely divine and feels like an at-home spa treatment for your hair.
Once a week, apply this product to the roots of wet hair and then pull it through the lengths. Then rinse. I use this before the other two products I’m about to share once a week. It contains kaolin clay which helps to absorb oils and leave your scalp feeling balanced and restored. This product really helps get the buildup out of your hair. It is a little pricey, but it’s a luxury product, and being that you only use it once a week, it will last you quite a while! Definitely a new must have for the uniqueness alone.

This shampoo has an ultra-light formula that balances scalp oiliness. It purifies the scalp to reduce excess oil and odors, plus it adds volume to flat hair and aids in detangling. It will deeply cleanse your roots but be gentle to your ends. The result is soft and shiny hair. This product is said to be a must have for someone who doesn’t wash their hair that often or has an oil imbalance.
Use this as you would with your typical shampoo, massaging and lathering into the roots. Kerastase recommends using this twice, but I find that using it once, especially after using the previous product, is sufficient enough. It has a great scent which lingers in your hair and really gets your hair squeaky clean without leaving it stripped dry.
Kerastase Masque Rehydratant Hair Mask | $63.00
Kerastase hair masks are one of my favorite all time hair products. This one in particular is a lightweight gel-masque that instantly rebalances hair’s hydration and restores your hair quality. It also detangles your hair and provides a lightweight finish to leave your hair hydrated and shiny.
It has a light feel to it as it has gel viscosity but it is incredibly nourishing. As someone who uses heat styling products on the regular (hair dryer, flat iron), this packs the hydration back into your hair keeps your hair looking and feeling soft. It’s a little on the pricey side, like other Kerastase products, but you’re paying for the quality of the ingredients and the product as a whole.
