Ojon’s TUNU Elastik Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I’ve always been a huge fan of Natalie Portman but even she has her share of bad hair days. Take a look at this picture:

Too bad she had not heard of Ojon’s TUNU Elastik Shampoo & Conditioner because it would have taken her two minutes to fix that frizzy mop.

The Hair Smoothing Cleanser and Conditioner delivers an espresso-style shot of moisture to hair to the extent that you’ll be drowning in hydration — which can be a great thing for extremely dry hair but not that great for oily hair (so those with oilier hair, use this product judiciously because even YOU suffer from frizz…I know).

There is a unique ingredient in this line: Crambe Seed Oil. This rare seed oil delivers that promise of lustre that’s reserved only for screen sirens. The line also contains Ojon’s ‘signature’ wildcrafted ingredient, Ojon® Oil along with Swa+TM Oil – which has an impressive nine naturally occurring amino acids.

The texture of the shampoo is thick and gooey, like honey. The conditioner is very thick, like paste and together they work to combat fly aways, brittle hair and frizz like Optimus Prime in Transformers 2.

You should not really need the Tunu Elastik Hair Tamer and the Flexible Finishing Spray after you use the Shampoo and Conditioner. In my opinion, these two more than do the job. But if your hair is especially unruly, like Britney Spears during her rehab days, you may want to invest in the entire collection.

I wouldn’t advocate this line for exceptionally oily hair. But for the rest of us who combat frizz for a living, TUNU Elastik wins. Hands down.

Tunu Elastik Smoothing Cleanser: $25
Tunu Elastik Conditioner: $27
Tunu Elastik Hair Tamer: $25
Tunu Elastik Flexible Finishing Hairspray: $25

Do you know if a smaller size or sample is available?

Linda, I think Ojon would give you one. If not, go to sephora and ask them for a sample. They will pour them into little bottles for you. Trust me I’ve done it!!!
