16 Oct Review, Before/After Photos: Dark And Lovely 6 Week Anti-Reversion Cream Serum – In-Between Hair Relaxer
Dark and Lovely‘s 6 week Anti-Reversion Cream Serum ($8.99) is supposed to be used as an in-between relaxer. However, I used it to straighten my natural (unrelaxed) hair. Because I live in a state where the humidity is my enemy, I was looking for a product to use in-between my washes that would keep my hair from frizzing or reverting back to its curly state after flat-ironing.
Before
So, I decided to see how long this product would last between washes… I simply shampooed and conditioned my hair; added the Dark and Lovely 6 week Anti-Reversion Cream Serum and blow-dried my hair; added a heavy moisturizer and then flat-ironed my hair. That was 5 weeks ago!
After
My hair has no frizz, not even reverting back to its curly state, regardless of 90% humidity; I haven’t had to use a flat iron on my hair in 5 weeks! I give this product 4 stars. Why not 5? The product dried out my hair a little bit, but once I added my heavy moisturizer my hair felt soft and nicely moisturized.

So you applied the product, flat ironed the hair and that was it? It lasted 5 weeks with regular washes?

my hair was soft and easy to detangle, now is totally unmanageable, feel ruff and hard no mater what I use it just tangle on the back of my neck.
don’t buy this mess if you love your hair!!!

Posted at 18:22h, 19 JanuaryI use this product only once, I washed my hair with my normal shampoo & conditioner then applied the Dark and Lovely 6 week anti-reversion . My hair is normally tangle but I can manage it ; However this styling cream after blowing dryer it was horrible and flat iron it made it worst. It became hard to comb through and wrapping was out of the question. Please take this off the market it doesn’t work only giving false hope. By the way my hair is normally fine and I use the regular strenght for NORMAL HAIR TYPES.
