Get that easy-breezy tousled summer hair with Bumble and bumble’s New Surf Foam Wash Shampoo ($24.00) and Creme Rinse Conditioner ($24.00). No wave-inducing spray required (only if you want to)! Bumble and bumble introduced their coveted Surf Spray ($25.00) back in 2001, and now they’ve added a complimentary Shampoo and Conditioner to the routine.

Sea salts, minerals and marine extracts replicate that beach-y summer hair, adding volume and texture to your sexy, sun-dried hair that you never want to wash out. Sea botanicals soften hair to reveal hydrated, body-enhancing results with no styling necessary. You can finish your look with the Surf Spray, but it is pretty amazing what this Shampoo and Conditioner produces alone.

Before

I first applied some of the Surf Foam Wash Shampoo, which is a clean-rinsing formula with a soft, foamy lather. It worked like a clarifying shampoo but was not at all drying; it helps create body and softens hair to enhance natural waves. Sea fennel and kelp help wipe out impurities.

I then followed with the Surf Creme Rinse Conditioner that gently detangles hair; I left  it in my hair for about five minutes. It is recommended to let hair air-dry to bring out those natural waves. I just blow-dried my scalp and left the rest of my hair to air-dry as suggested.

After

I didn’t add any other leave-in products… I didn’t even put a comb through my hair. The next morning I took my After picture (I know, I know. I look like Cousin Itt). My hair definitely felt hydrated with soft waves trickling down my back.

I do have a natural wave to my hair from all the braids I wear, but this Shampoo and Conditioner enhanced that while making my hair seem more manageable and less unruly. This is such a great hair-cleansing and conditioning duo to use for summer or whenever you are missing your beach-y manes.

Are any of you lovely ladies going to try this shampoo and conditioner? Are you fans of the Surf Spray?

I adore Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray, Thickening Spray and volume mousse.
Looking at the pictures, there are no waves in her hair. I would not purchase the shampoo/conditioner based on the photos.

I love Surf Spray. I have very wavy hair and would love to try the shampoo and conditioner but I have not yet read anything on whether or not it is safe for color-treated hair.

I would love to try the surf spray. Sometimes at home I use a sea salt water conditioner combo in attempt to get beachy hair but it has never been quite right.
