Sarah Potempa recently created an “S” wave style on Camila Cabello using the Beachwaver Co. Coast Pro Ceramic Styling Iron ($169 at Ulta and Ulta.com).

Bring all of your hair forward, and divide into two clean, even sections using The Beachwaver Co. Darby Clips ($9.99 at Beachwaver.com). Then create a smaller horizontal section on one side and clip the rest of the hair out of the way. To start the “S” wave with the Coast Pro, gather a 1-inch section of hair and start at the root. Clamp down and go “over” the hair, making one full rotation of the iron and then let go. From that point where the last rotation stopped, put your Coast Pro in and go “under” one rotation of the iron. These two rotations together create the full “S” wave shape. Your pattern will be “over” and “under” all the way down the hair shaft leaving a cool, lived in, “S” wave pattern. Wait until the hair has cooled and run your fingers through, then finish with a texture spray and light hold hairspray.
