I love L’Oreal products and use one of their other hair dyes on a regular basis but had a coupon for the new Sublime Mousse so I thought I would try it out. I have black hair and wanted to go lighter (Dark Brown) and the box said it could handle the change. WRONG – not only did it not cover my roots, the product didn’t change my hair color AND it made my hair dry. I usually love L’Oreal products but I will not use this mousse product again.

My hair was a light beigey blond and I purchased the dark blond color from the Loreal Sublime Mouse collection. It turned my hair brown, no where near dark blond! Im hoping it fades, but I’m disappointed. Plus, the foam didnt stay foamy even after scrubbing it a little more like instructed, the foam still just disappeared. Would not recommend it, especially not if you want the same color that is on the box because you might not get it!

Can’t help but have a great chuckle. Just saw the loreal mousse commercial that had me almost sold,
But read these reviews and there’s no way I’d try it! God I love the internet!

I purchased this product in pure black. I believe number 20. The product was easy to apply. I had a few blonde patches in my hair from a bad experience, that when I fixed it I missed a few spots. The color covered the blonde spots. It looked very natural. Having very healthy hair to begin with, my hair is still healthy soft and smooth. Overall, so far I like this product.
