Schwartzkopf recently had an awesome event inspired by the holidays that was every hair/beauty editor’s dream. I got to meet and speak to
Russel James. He is the famed
Victoria’s Secret photographer who recently joined forces with Schwarzkopf and helped curate their color ultimate runway fashion inspired collection. I found it interested that even though he has a passion for photography, he does not love getting his own picture taken.
Although there were many products showcased at the event, my favorites were the
Gliss product line that was recently reviewed on BeautyStat by Dawn, our Editor-In-Chief. Gliss, as a brand, has been well-known in Europe for years and recently introduced in the USA. I was very impressed with this brand as it seemed to be a
great solution for dry, overworked hair. The
anti-breakage technology seemed to be a real solution to damaged hair. After a few shampoos, your hair miraculously seems to heal itself.
I spoke with a woman who worked for the brand and I commented on how
healthy and beautiful her hair looked. She told me she
had been using Gliss’ shampoo and conditioner for the last few weeks. A true testament to the power of the product!
I also liked the
Got2B Color Room where, among the new colors they had, there was also some dry shampoo that was terrific – the
Got2B Fresh It Up Dry Shampoo. The bottle it was in looked as good as how refreshing the product felt in my hair. The dry shampoo
smelled great and
instantly made my hair feel refreshed. It also comes in different versions to fit various hair types and textures. Check it out

I also got my nails done by
Paintbox Manicures as well as my hair braided at the customized

The event was an incredible evening out! If by chance you did not get what you really wanted for Christmas, there is nothing stopping you from going to a retailer near you and grabbing some of these great new Schwartzkopf products! You might see me there doing the same.
