I recently went to a wonderful event in the city thrown by
Carol’s Daughter. It was a launch party for a new product called
Wash Day Delight. It’s a
water-to-foam shampoo which was made for curly to coiled hair. It claims to wash hair quickly without stripping it. It also makes it much quicker to detangle hair. Wash Day Delight contains
98% naturally derived ingredients and is blended with aloe. It is sulfate free, silicone free, paraben free, vegan, and contains no artificial colors. It retails for
$10.99 for a 16.9 fl. oz. bottle.
The event was loads of fun and we all had the great pleasure of seeing
Lisa Price and hearing her speak. I had met Lisa many years before when she first started in the business. I am happy to tell you she was just as
friendly and humble at her launch party as the day I met her when she first started in the beauty business. She has had a
mega successful career as L’Oreal bought her business in 2016. She’s also written a book, was featured on Oprah, and her products were first on exhibit in the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture!
I did try the shampoo and absolutely loved it. It’s not made for my exact hair type, but worked well in any case. I loved the fresh smell and the easy application. My hair had no knots and came out looking smooth, clean, and healthy! If you have a chance, try her new shampoo and let us know what you think!
