Ask the Expert Series & Giveaway: Sam Fine, Celeb Makeup Artist

In 2010, we had several beauty experts who graced BeautyStat’s Facebook page including Ken Paves and Jennifer Walsh. You asked, they answered questions in real time.

To get 2011 off to a great start, we are bringing back a BeautyStat favorite: Sam Fine, celebrity makeup artist, who needs no introduction. His celebrity clients have included Iman, Veronica Webb, Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell, among countless others.

Sam Fine is transparent about his ambitions with women’s skin. He is not here to sell you products; he wants to transform your skin with the products you already own. I’m sure many of you have either heard of, or read his instructional book, Fine Beauty.

He will be on BeautyStat’s Facebook page LIVE today at 1:30pm-2:30pm EST answering ANY questions you may have on makeup. Yup, you get to chat with the magician himself, ladies.

As a thank you to you for participating, we will be giving away one copy of his latest DVD, The Basics of Beauty, to one lucky participant who asks a question on the Facebook page or leaves a question below.

We look forward to seeing you on Facebook at 1:30pm EST. Be fine, be beautiful.

Overplucked eyebrows…what advice do you have in minimizing the tiny hairs as they’re growing back in? It’s not very attractive and I end up replucking them…grrrr. Help!

Hello! I love buying makeup palettes but I can never find one that’s pigmented enough for me to use all the products in it. For example, sometimes the eyeshadows will be pigmented enough but the lip colors won’t be..and vice versa. Do you have any suggestions for beauty companies that sell palettes for darker skin tones.
