Women who wear lipstick more often (4+ days per week) are more confident (93%) than those who wear it less often (0-3 days per week) (86%). The study also revealed:
- 73% of those who wear lipstick more often are “in the know” about pop culture – compared to 61% of those who wear it less often.
- Employed women who wear lipstick more often are more than twice as likely as those who wear it less often to hold a senior position at work – 34% compared to 16% of those hold senior positions.
- On average, those who wear lipstick more often own 9 pairs of high heels – compared to those who wear it less often, who own 5. And red lipstick-wearers own the most: they own 9, compared to nudes’ 8 and pinks’ and plums’ 6.
