The show at NYFW was another phenomenal collection of exciting textures and shapes. The makeup was kept simple and minimal. In a group session backstage, lead makeup artist Polly Osmond explained the look of the show: blood red lips and how to get them. Christian himself did state that for this collection he found himself in a rather dark mood, being inspired by vampires. Speaking of vampires, sitting in the front row was Nina Dobrev of the Vampire Diaries enjoying the show. A reporter got a moment with the star and found out her favorite products are by La Mer: “That’s all I use, ” said Nina. Think you can recreate this look at home? Sure, just pencil the shape desired and fill in with your favorite blood red lipstick and top it with a light gloss.

Lead Makeup Artist: Polly Osmond
Makeup: M·A·C
