Gift Guide 2010: What Top Beauty Bloggers Are Wishing for This Year

With countless beauty products hitting the shelves each year, you might be hard pressed to really find the DeBeers diamond equivalent from the sleigh of choices. When I run out of ideas, or am short of inspiration, I often turn to my lovely beauty blogging buddies who never fail to inspire and offer insight.

Here’s what some of the best in the beauty biz are wishing for this year:

Diane Artzberger from The Beauty Alchemist is pining for the Atelier Orange Sanguine Fragrance ($145). Why? “It is bursting with citrus zing and is long lasting to boot, unusual for a citrus. Plus after being only available in huge 6.7 oz bottles, you can now buy a reasonable 1 oz size.”

Shannon Nelson from A Girl’s Gotta Spa! loves Renee Rouleau’s Vitamin C& E Complex, which she affectionately dubs the “skin care solution of 2010.”

Adina Zilberman from Krasey Beauty loves Make Up For Ever’s “Rock For Ever Dany’s Essentials Kit.” She says, “With a plethora of Dany Sanz’s beauty favorites in a rock star-approved mini traincase, I bet there isn’t a look that I couldn’t do!”

It’s $597 and sold out in most places, so if you see one, think of this gal!

Julia Coney from All About the Pretty says, “Every holiday season, I buy a deluxe size of the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base ($50). My skin is dry from the weather and traveling and this product restores it beautifully. I put some in a travel size container because it’s a must have for the plane.”

Brittany Thomas from ClumpsofMascara says, “Boscia’s Luminizing Black Mask ($34) has been on my covet list for at least a month now. The skin has taken quite a beating from the cooler weather and I’d love to re-energize it with this fabulous purifying mask.”

Jeannine Morris from BeautySweetSpot really wants a drugstore item: Crest 3D Whitestrips Professional Effects. “I have so many holiday parties to go to this season for work and with my friends and family and escape the red wine and coffee stains with Crest 3D Whitestrips Professional Effects, ” she says. “They work in just three days and are great for maintenance. They’re my go-to to keeping my smile bright all season long.”

Evie Maciel from The Product Pasha says, “This Christmas, I’m really hoping to find Benefit Femme Metale Kit ($117 value for $28). It comes with three gorgeous wintry and festive shades of my favorite(ever!) cream eyeshadow plus three equally festive and shimmery eyeliners.”

Grace Gold from AOL StyleList says, “This holiday season, I’m most lusting after Bobbi Brown’s Modern Classic Lip & Eye Palette ($75). Seriously, can Bobbi do no palette wrong? I think it’s the only collection I’ve ever seen where I can pull off every single shade in the compact. Subtle, sexy smokiness — here I come!”

Thank you, beauty pros, for telling us your picks this season. We hope you get your every wish — and then some. As for our dear BeautyStat readers, do you agree with any of the recommendations above? What would you personally pick?

I love Bobbi Brown’s eye shadows. I ordered her compact last year and have never found any other shadows that compare to hers. I will definately order this one.
