(Giveaway & Review) Lip Balms for the Cooler Weather: Tinted Carmex Moisture Plus, Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment, Smith’s Rosebud Salve

Move over, chapped lips. We think that these products can really kamikaze their way to hydration with their ultra emollient properties.

Check out these moisturizing lovelies and tell us which lip balm you can’t live without:

Carmex Moisture Plus New Tinted Lip Balms:

The two new shades are ultra-hydrating lip balms with tints of sheer color (sheer pink and sheer peach). A watershed moment in the history of the company, this is the first time Carmex has added color to its products.

Our verdict? The blend of vitamin E, aloe, shea butter avocado butter also contains SPF 15, and the balms moisturize like nothing else. For $2.99, your lips will avoid “cracked” status, and you can find them at your local Walgreens or Walgreens.com.

We love the slanted tip that makes for easy application.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15:

This classic will always be a staple in our books. This hydrating treatment nourishes and protects, plus its delicious combination of waxes and oils and real sugar gives you an exfoliating treatment plus a moisturizing component.

This product is paraben free, contains SPF 15, and retails for $22.50.

Rosebud Perfume Company, Three Lavish Layers of Lip Balm:

To be perfectly honest, when I first encountered the pale rose stuff found in the vintage, puck-sized Smith’s Rosebud Salve tin, I was beyond addicted.

Now, Sephora has a neat threesome of the lip balms in Strawberry, original Rosebud Salve and Minted Rose. You’ll never want to share…

$16 at Sephora.com only.

Tell us, which lip balms can you not live without? We are giving away THREE sets of the new Tinted Carmex Moisture Plus lip balms to lucky winners (each one gets TWO of the new tinted balms), so don’t be shy to enter your responses below.

I have to say that Carmex has been a favorite in my household for years. It is the only lip balm we have been able to find to keep our lips under control during the winter months. Speaking from the mind of my mother and sister, I would have to say they would go with the sweet sugar since it gives a distinctive component to a lip balm product.
