having exceptionally curly/frizzy hair, and fighting it all my life, I’ve decided to let ‘er go crazy this summer and it has made my life so much easier. A little gel, and an anti-humectant for shine and frizz control finishes the look. I take a few little clips and pull some of the strands up on top of my head for a little “heighth”. I love it. I can put the flat iron away for the summer. I also use self tanners for that summer bronze that we all love, except without the dangers of the sun. A little blush, neutral lip gloss and a touch of mascara and walaaaaa….. away I go!!!!

Oily skin out of control. Use a baking soda paste to remove excess oil and gently exfoliate the skin!

I have very oily skin so Summer time can be brutal for my face. I use Mylanta as a face primer. I know it sounds crazy but it works. I’ve tried all kinds of primers…low & high end…nothing beats Mylanta! I also took an empty Orbits gum “box” & cut up toilet seat covers to size. I use the sheets as blotting papers. Works like a charm & it’s cheap! I decorated the gum box with paper & stickers so it looks cute! These are my fave DIY oil fighters!

I skip foundation altogether and just wear Too Faced Primed & Poreless topped with Clinique’s Stay Matte powder-no heaviness and I get tons of compliments on my makeup every time! People are pretty shocked when I tell them I’m not wearing foundation!

boil hot water, put a couple of sliced lemons in the boil water and pour in a bowl and lean forward and let the steam give you a facial. When I am all stuffy, I use tea tree oil. Very relaxing.
