Put splash on colognes in refrigerator so when you go to put them on they also cool you off. Also works really well for moisturizing sprays for face and skin as well as sprays that can set your makeup like Rose water.

To fight frizz, which is insane here in Florida, I use an overnight conditioning treatment in my hair, LOreal Overnight EverStrong Repair Treatment is amazing, and it doesn’t make your pillow greasy or make you break out. It hydrates parched sun-parched hair beautifully. Before going into the ocean or pool, coat your hair with conditioner. It will combat the drying tendancies of salt and chlorine and keep your color from fading or turning green. As far as face goes, CLEANSE thoroughly, do not skip this step, morning and night. I like to use a primer underneath mineral powder foundation if I use foundation, it keeps it in place, minimizes pores and fights oil. The mineral foundation if used lightly evens tone and still lets your skin look like skin. I love the Bare Escentuals primer and collection. Exfoliation is key, not only to make your self tan method look smooth and even but also to combat dead skin build up, which when mixed with oil and dirt can plug pores and cause serious breakouts. When using sunscreen, go for a non oily one for your face, Neutrogena makes one that works well. A spray one for your body avoids getting greasy hands and dries very quickly, and are usually waterproof to boot.

I put children’s leave-in conditioner (I use Ouidad brand KRLY Kids conditioner, smells so good!) in my wet hair before the beach and I have NO frizz when it dries! After lots of sun I mix face oil (Jurlique) and face lotion (Cetaphil) and my skin is so smooth and never gets dry/peely!

    Hi~~
For my oily skin, I use a toner and blot face “before” makeup. It delays oil break through. I then use a mattifying gel, then a primer before foundation. It adds hours to makeup wear.

Also, instead of powdered eye shadows, I use MAC Paints with a #252 brush. It looks more natural 🙂

Don’t forget about your lips in the heat and sun! Especially in the ultra dry climates where there’s not much humidity. The lips have some of the thinnest skin on our bodies, take the biggest beating and are often overlooked.

KaplanMD lip treatments are anti-aging, moisturizing, contain SPF 20 and add natural fullness. By far the best lipstick/lip treatments I’ve tried.
