Obviously the new items in the holiday collection itself are the Passion Face Palette and the Eye Quartet Mineral Palette. Here are celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff’s tips on how to wear the eye palette. Dubroff is a top Hollywood makeup artist, having worked with the likes of Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore, Megan Fox and Eva Mendes.

Silver Lids: A dramatic look that shows off this season’s hottest trend: metallic makeup

Use the black tone to line close to the lashline with a small wet eyeshadow brush to intensify the hold. Sweep the copper tone in the crease of the eye, and then pack on the silver shade over the lid. Add lots of black mascara on the upper lashes.

Smokey, Shimmering Eye: A modern smokey look that takes years off the eyes

Using a black or dark grey pencil, smudge close to the lash line and up onto the lid. Use the pencil to add depth to the crease of the eye and underneath if you want more intensity. Top with blach shadow close to the lashline, blending up and onto the lid. Use the grey shadow on the lid and the bronze one through the crease. Add a spot of shine on the inner corder and center of lid with the silver. Use a black pencil to intensify the water line )inner rim upper and lower and finish with lots of black mascara. By penciling in the crease to create depth, you can erase years from your eye be re-creating the contour. Conversely, applying light shades on the brow bone ages the entire face.
