While attending the Birchbox local Pop Up Shop during NYFW, I sat in the chair to get another lippy from a company I had seen in my local Duane Reade: Pür Minerals.

Not only did I love my new lippy, as its mineral shea butter left my lips looking so luscious and feeling so smooth… I asked to try more of their products.

I really wanted to learn about highlighting my eyes, so my MUA Cora mentioned the Hello Bright Eyes Pencil ($17.00) and told me where to put it — inner corners and under my brow bone.  I instantly appeared more awake!

It’s a self-sharpening mechanical pencil that allows for precision. Being a fine artist, I find details are easier to do with pencils as opposed to my usual “finger painting” technique. Inner corners of my eyes qualify as details indeed.

Tone Up Total Eye Fitness (now on sale for $18.50) was another product sent to me. It is said to tighten the area of the eye, as well as fade crow’s feet, dark circles and puffiness — which in fact does do, as I have been using it for the past two weeks.

Before/After

There is certainly more hydration in my eye area now, allowing for less indentations of my dark circles. I saw immediate results and posted it on my Twitter page to show what was happening right away.

Two weeks in and people are still complementing me; I believe it has to be Pür Minerals, as nothing has changed in my cosmetic routine before the introduction of this line of skincare.

I have been also using their 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup SPF 15 ($27.00)  and it is super-lightweight on the skin.

In just 8 weeks, 89% saw an improvement in skintone
95% reported a firmer and tighter feel and finish

I felt more ethereal-looking, as my skin showed through more. I applied it via a brush ever-so-lightly. It’s both oil- and talc-free, and acts as a concealer, finishing powder, foundation and SPF all in one compact.

Next time you are perusing the aisles of your local Duane Reade or Walgreens, stop to see this very nourishing and natural collection. They also make mud masks, anti-aging moisturizers, mists that hydrate and set your makeup, a CC cream and much more.

You should know that Pür Minerals formulas do not contain parabens, SLS, lanolin, mineral oil, DEA, petrolatum, formaldehyde, hydroquinone or chemical dyes.

I need to tone up my entire face, I have never tried this liner before this is actually the first time I have heard of it. I like that it’s affordable!

I have not tried this brand before. I do like the reviews that Nicole has given on the products. I know I could definitely use a tone-up around my eyes. And I like the idea of using the eye pencil too. The two products used together would make a wonderfully noticeable difference.
