Where does one start when looking at a collection from Tarte that is so vast and amazingly addictive? These sets are all priced below retail value, and I can honestly say that I like them all! I shall do my very best to walk you through my “Oohs” and “Ahhs” as best I can…
The Gorgeous Getaways Portable Palette Set ($48.00/retail value $423.00) is what I first started to open and use for my Holiday Look (see below!). This set is a limited-edition collection and includes 16 eyeshadows, 4 blushes and 3 lipglosses.
This set also includes a one-of-a-kind chic portable, interchangeable bow compact for endless looks for on-the-go! That right there is what I call PRACTICAL.
There is nothing better than having the essentials with you, not having to comb through a handbag! I cannot tell you how many times I have done this.
I used the top right quad for my lids and then went straight for The Best For Lash 4- Piece Eye Set ($25.00/retail value $46.00) using the Deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes (TM) Waterproof 12-hr Inner Rim Liner to line my lashes for an extra bold look… and might I add that the liner was specifically designed for the delicate inner rim; it did deliver an intense, triple black line that did not budge, smudge nor run.

Onto the Deluxe MultiplEYE (TM) Lash Enhancing Primer, which preps the lashes while delivering essential nutrients that strengthen and lengthen from root to tip. The Deluxe Light, Camera, Flashes (TM) Statement Mascara is said to take lashes to the extreme with a 752% increase in lash volume INSTANTLY.
I skipped the Deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes (TM) 4-in-1 Mascara, because I wanted the va-va-va-voom look. This is Tarte‘s best-selling mascara, and it is clinically proven to lengthen, curl and volumize lashes by 330% INSTANTLY.
Oh my, I forgot to mention that I curled my lashes with the Rare Gem Limited Edition Picture Perfect (TM) Eyelash Curler ($19.00) — such an ultra-glam experience! Pair the rhinestone embellished curler (in Tarte‘s signature color, purple) with the included Deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes (TM) 4-in-1 Mascara and you are set!

The curved angle suits all eye shapes and although I am a Shu Uemura curler fan, as well as a Kevyn Aucoin curler fan, this one from Tarte did a wonderful job curling my lashes, as you can see in the pictures.
After
All products in this collection are so colorfully packaged, I don’t believe wrapping paper is even necessary!

The mascaras and the eye lash curler is on my wish list, I want one that is pocket friendly but works amazing without pulling on my lashes.
