Makeup Review, Photos, Swatches: Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream

New year, new shows, new wardrobe and definitely NEW COSMETICS! Revlon did not let us down this year. They are launching five new fabulous products you will want for your makeup bag this Spring. PhotoReady BB Cream, ColorStay Concealer, Nearly Naked Makeup and Pressed Powder, PhotoReady Primer, Shadow + Sparkle and, last but not least, ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick. So many shades — something for the neutral and glam gal!

BB creams are all the rage in the cosmetic department, and Revlon has finally made one in this fast-growing category.  Upon touch, PhotoReady BB Cream ($10.99) is very silky and imparts a radiant glow. As you all know: BB creams hydrate like a moisturizer, smooth skin like a primer, covers like a foundation and protects like a sunscreen.

As I get older, I don’t like to wear foundation all the time; I like something that will be quick and give me a nice appearance — and this BB cream does it! I have tried some that were better than others, but as far as mass products go, Revlon is up to the challenge.

It is available in Light, Light/Medium and Medium. If you have a darker skin tone, then I would stick with a regular foundation, as it won’t be dark enough. But, if you are light to olive, this will be perfect. Smoothing, covering, blurring, hydrating and protecting? My favorite words!

Don’t forget to also submit a photo to our Photo Of The Day (click here!) feature, where a new photo will be picked daily. Your photo just might be selected, so get going!

First, I am 51 and have tried Garnier and found it to have a lot of shine even though my skin is a little dry. I just bought this and it is not shiny at all and has more coverage but wish it were a little more moisturizing.

I currently use Garnier’s BB cream and like it. Tried Olay’s CC cream and it really irritated my face so back to Target it went. I will certainly give Revlon’s BB cream a try.
