Are you tired of being a boring, nice girl? Have you always wanted to embrace your inner CBGB rocker? Well, the people at Ardency Inn are giving you a secret weapon so you too can look as fierce as Debbie Harry circa 1978: Punker One Stroke Liquid Eyeliner ($19.00) is just what you need to turn your look up to 11.

At first glance, this liner looks so cute and compact — How much impact can it make? Well, it can make a ton! This liner has a felt-tip that looks like a typical Sharpie pen, and with it you can create any kind of eye look from demure Liz Taylor to the toughest punk on Astor Place in the ’80s.

I thought it was going to be difficult to use when I first saw the tip, however, as I began to play, I was surprised to see just how easy the liner was to use.

The barrel of the pen is also very short, so you can get up close and personal with your mirror to get a really tight line. My only issue with this liner is that it is not water resistant, so if your caught in a crying or rain storm, you will morph into Courtney Love (unintentionally!).

Ardency Inn is a new cosmetic line that is deeply rooted in the downtown music scene. I am excited to see what else Ardency Inn has in store for us. Music and makeup — two of my favorite things in the world. This line promises to marry both and let our creativity soar!

Here’s what our very own Evelyn Lugo had to say about the Punker One Stroke Liquid Eyeliner:

Known as “The world’s baddest eyeliner”, it was inspired by the dark-rimmed eyes that give punk rockers that fierce look. The PUNKER eyeliner is much easier to handle than traditional eyeliners.

James Vincent, Ardency Inn’s Creative Director of Artistry and Education said:

PUNKER makes it easy for everyone to take their look from boring to bold with one slash across the lash line.

It literally takes the fear out of applying liquid liner. Keep it simply and sexy with a cat-eye, or create dramatic shapes of your own that lets everyone know you’re not the girl to mess with.”

James Vincent was right, so I did BOTH. Taking my cue from the look Ardency Inn and Holly Marilyn (lead singer of rock band The Child) created for the brand’s ad shot! Recently, Holly Marilyn tweeted: “All I need is my @ArdencyInn Punker eyeliner pen and I’m ready to go! Obsessed!”

Look! Easy removal. Now that’s bad!

How about removal? Well, removing it was way easier than removing traditional eyeliners. All I did was swipe a makeup remover wipe and it was gone!

Punker One Stroke Liquid Eyeliner is available at Sephora, Sephora.com and www.ardencyinn.com.

Nice. I’d give it a go. I’m not usually big on eye liner, but I’ve been told it looks good on me, even though I usually disagree. It’s usually someone trying to sell me stuff that says that too, of course.

I have a chronic illnesses that causes my hands to shake sometimes, so putting on eyeliner is not always possible. I’m excited about trying this one to see if it’s easy enough to use even on my most shaky days. Just wish it was waterproof!
