If you had asked me 10-years ago how I felt about any incarnation of nectar, coral or orange, I would have to say I probably wouldn’t of been on board. Leave it to Bobbi Brown to reinvent the color wheel. Her latest collection is fresh and wearable for just about every skintone.
My favorite part of this collection is the Nectar & Nude Eye Palette. Six shades define and highlight the eyes. Beautiful mattes and sparkly shades combine to create your perfect spring eye.
- Pale Cream – Warm porcelain highlighter
- Soft Buff – Matte warm nude
- Golden Metallic Bronze – Light golden bronze shade
- Pink Bellini Sparkle – Light pink sparkle (I like to use my finger when applying!)
- Earth – Medium-toned brown for contour
- Rich Caviar – Rich brown black for lining
As with all of Bobbi‘s palettes, it also contains a dual-ended shadow and liner brush. Simply fool-proof!
For cheeks this season, it’s all about a creamy and smooth texture. Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in Hibiscus is a bright red-coral that can be applied either very softly or deeper for a strong punch of color. This product is great because it is so versatile, and most skin types can use it. It’s not greasy, so you combination gals need not to worry!
Last but not least are 3 shades of High Shimmer Lip Gloss to satisfy your citrus color cravings! There’s Bare Peach, a hi-shimmer gloss that looks fantastic when put over the Pot Rouge for a glam lip look; Nectar, a peachy lip, that looks great on its own. And finally for the ultra-natural gal, there’s Nude Pink, a soft pink beige. So there you have it, something for everyone this spring season!
