Oh, Terry de Gunzburg — how I adore your products! It was nearly two years ago when I had the pleasure of meeting Terry in person while attending an event for BeautyStat at SpaceNK in NYC.

I remembered her saying that she uses only the finest and most rare ingredients, as they provide the best results. After sampling the new 2013 Christmas Style Collection, I still believe this to be true.

This year’s collection whirls between chic magic and sweet madness with products that glitter, shine and envelop a woman in a ” femme fatale” aura. I can easily change my day to nighttime look with just a swipe of a different colored Gloss Terrybly Shine and a heavier hand with the Crayon Khol Terrybly. It’s just that easy!
Gloss Terrybly Shine ($44.00) is a firming and anti-aging serum gloss with 5 new shades to brighten up the winter months. Non-iridescent lip lacquer has the light reflecting shine and volume. The glossy veil combines the most effective anti-aging active ingredients with “sexy plump” reshaping pigments.
The secret to this “sexy plump” is Lumilip (R) Technology that infuses the properties of Kiss Me Quick extract and hydra-filling effects of Hyaluronic Acid Microspheres deep down into the lips! I saw a fuller lip immediately upon application. It also has a slightly floral-fruity scent and certainly is not irritating to my sensitive nose. The new shades are Be Nude, Floral Paradise (sampled), Cupcake Glaze, Bitten Splash and Flamenco Desire (sampled).
The eye look has “Fashion Glitter” to spotlight a smoky eye — literally! Ombre Blackstar ($43.00) has added two new shades to its line with a tattoo hold that allows the lids to radiate shine. Blue Obsession and Ombre Mercure (sampled) are creamy eyeshadows in a stick form with concentrated Tahitian black pearl extract for that extra sparkle.
Crayon Khol Terrybly ($33.50) has added 2 new sparkling shades: Festive Gold and Holiday Black, which are derived from highly concentrated effervescent microprisms. They provide a soft line that is waterproof and ideal for the application of kohl or eyeliner straight out of the Arabian Nights.
The spotlight continues on the nails for a new desire to shine. This winter, Terry de Gunzburg reinvents the idea of extravagant nail art with an ultra-glitter top coat in Nail Laque Terrybly Gel Top Coat in Glittery ($30.00).
A true fashion accessory, the dry-fast glittery top coat gel adorns both bare and polished nails to create an ultra-festive look. Its silvery-blue micro-glitter adds long-lasting and dazzling luminosity to your nails.
