Always searching for that perfect nude lippy? Well, look no further! Available as of August 2013, Hourglass Cosmetics is releasing 6 Femme Nude Lip Stylos ($30.00 each) that deliver a creamy, full-coverage, satin finish.
I often love a smoky eye, whether it be in charcoal, violet, brown, etc. with a nude lip to offset the boldness. I find nude-colored lips so ethereal and minimalistic, which can read as a very sexy look.
Like all Hourglass products, Femme Nude‘s packaging is super-luxe. Its sleek, weighted and retractable stylo allows for a precise line that doesn’t feather, which gives lips medium to full coverage.
It also required no outside sharpener, as you simply twist the product clockwise to allow it to sharpen itself. I sampled both Nude No 2 and Nude No 6.
Nude No 1 is a pale pink; Nude No 2, a honey-beige nude; Nude No 3, a medium rose with a hint of pink; Nude No 4, a pink-beige nude with a touch of deep rose; Nude No 5, a golden peach nude with luminosity and Nude No 6, a mauve nude — the deepest nude in the collection.
