The ever-so-popular Clinique Chubby Sticks for lips have won the hearts of many, but now, Clinique introduces its newest member: Chubby Stick Shadow Tint For Eyes ($16.00 each). Portable and convenient, twelve new shades are coming to Clinique counters nationwide as of February 1st!
I sampled six: Whopping Willow, Ample Amber, Pink & Plenty, Big Blue, Massive Midnight and Lavish Lilac yet there are also Bountiful Beige, Lots O’Latte, Fuller Fudge, Mighty Moss, Curvaceous Coal and Portly Plum.

They provide a non-creasing, long-wearing formula with a hassle-free application. They stay put and no fall-out occurred on my cheeks, so I liked all the colors sampled. Infused with vitamin E , the lightweight and soothing formula glides on effortlessly, too.
Clinique Global Color Artist, Jenna Menard offers a few tips on application:
“These unique shadow sticks come in a variety of colors and layering shadows has never been so easy and mess-free. You can create a professional look in minutes by applying different colors on different areas of the lid. The key is to blend the edges of the colors with a shadow brush before the makeup sets.
Each shade can be worn alone as an all-over color on the lid, combined with an eyeliner to create more definition, layered under a powder shadow to create more dimension with two textures or layered with other shadow sticks to create a creamy blend of ‘wow’ colors on the lids.”
I love the ease of application of these pencils/sticks in general for the lips as well, and love the fact that now they come in shades for your eyes.

The sales staff at Nordstrom and Sephora just start laughing when I come in because they know my first question is: Did the Clinique eye chubby sticks come in yet???? I know Feb 1 is right around the corner, but I can’t wait. I am having Siri add the date to my calendar as high importance.

Posted at 14:02h, 26 JanuaryI would love to win the Clinique Eyeshadow set! I like the fact that it can be worn alone or layered and is stated to be A LOT less messier then other shadows. I have always liked to experiment with different color combinations and to do my eyes different from the “norm”. Love to play with colors I guess you could say. To also learn that they are infused with Vitamin E is great too. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the contest.
