Super-sparkly and smoldering! That’s how I sum up the Laura Mercier Limited Edition Holiday 2013 Colour Collection. I opened up the Petite Baked Eye Colour Bonbons ($25.00) compact and was greeted by 3 perfectly sparkly Emerald eyeshadow domes (also available in Amethyst and Bronze).

When I applied these eyeshadows dry, they provided a sheer, super-sparkly wash of color. There are 3 shades of green: light, medium and deep, all with a gold pearl shimmer to them. Applied wet and WOW! Look out for intense color and sparkle!

Get eye color with a multidimensional, luminous pearl finish with soft, bouncy texture for excellent color payoff and a smooth, even application. Laura Mercier Illuminating Eye Colour ($24.00) comes in 3 shades: Crystal Fantasy, Pearl Fantasy (swatched) and Opal Fantasy.

Available at Macy’s, Nordstrom, Sephora and lauramercier.com, Brilliant Glacé ($24.00) is a sheer lipgloss with translucent color and super-glossy, brilliant prismatic shine. It’s not sticky and feels lightweight and comfortable on lips.

The prism effect creates the illusion of a fuller lip. The 3 shades flatter all skintones: Pink Prism, Rose Prism and Nude Prism, which I tried. Just beautiful for an easy holiday look.

I love a product that gives a glow or luminosity without shimmer.. I don’t like any glitter of shimmer in my products!
