Makeup Review, Swatches: Milani Felt-Tip Eye Tech Bold Liquid Liner, Eyeshadow Primer

I spy a trend here! Felt-tip liners are all the rage, as they allow you to create quiet and bold looks just by application. Milani has launched Eye Tech Bold ($7.49) in Black. I have reviewed ones from Stila, Dior, Smashbox and this one is just as easy-to-use!

What is nice about it is that with the felt-tip point you can really control the line — whether you want a thin line along the lashes or a more bold, thicker cat-eye, this product, like the others, delivers.

I love holding these as they remind me of my art school days! Felt-tip liners are a wonderful way to create many looks, and I am addicted to the variety in the one product alone.

Also new is their Eyeshadow Primer ($6.49). As a makeup lover, I always apply either a primer (Urban Decay’s Primer Potion) or simply a powder before my daily application of shadow. This, like the others, is used all over the eyelid. Allow it to set for about 30 seconds and apply your shadow to make it last longer, and to also keep the color from fading or creasing.

It’s available in Nude as it dries nearly invisible, so as to not take away from the color you are applying on top of it. It sets like a primer does for your face and within seconds… you are ready for your shadow.

Available at mass food and drugstores nationwide such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Kmart or online at www.milanicosmetics.com.

My favorite eyeshadow primer is urban decay or laura geller. Love felt tip liners but havent found that absolute favorit brand yet still looking. I would love to give milani eyeshadow primer a try , the nude shade looks like a great match for my skintone.

I love felt tip liners like this! I used to think eye shadow primer was a bunch of nonsense but then I startedusing Urban Decays primer & I can’t imagine life without it. Can’t wait to try these products!

I love my gel liner from Tart but I am looking for a great felt tip liquid liner for those days that I am in a hurry or just in the mood to wear only liner. I have tried several but they either smudge or just don’t last long enough through out the day for me. My favorite eyeshadow primer is from Tart but I also love the Laura Geller one but it’s a bit thick so blending it out takes work but hey beauty in it’s self takes work. I’ll definitely look out for these products and let you know how they worked out for me! Awesome review Nicole!! Thanks
