NARS Cosmetics’ Bento Box for Holiday 2010: Embrace your “Inner Geisha”

Inspired by the ancient art of Kabuki makeup, Francois Nars once again shows us how lips are done right. His most recent offering is a limited edition set of two Kabuki cups that were hand-poured with a new exclusive-to-NARS lipstick formula. Highly pigmented shades housed in a handmade bento box, the set also comes with a Kabuki lip brush, designed for precise application by dipping the brush into the cup and blending until desired coverage is achieved. Soft, or provocative? You decide. The formula is enriched with vitamin E, and the colors are classic. Can you hear the whisper of silk already?

The set will be available as of November 1st for $125 at narscosmetics.com. Get on the wait list now at narscosmetics.com/bento. Only one thousand sets were created for sale in the United States, and just over two thousand in total were created worldwide, so owning one of these Oriental-inspired creations may just be the starting treasure of your personal beauty museum.

Good grief! I am certainly intrigued, but $125?? Who could possibly take that walk of shame from the car to the front door to tell their husband or even a close friend that they just spent $125 on lip product? I can’t even imagine, the looks I’d get! LOL!

I think technological know-how just causes it to be worse. Now there’s a channel to hardly ever treatment, now there wouldn’t be a probability for them to find.
