Nars Fall 2010 Makeup Collection: Old Hollywood Glam Meets Futuristic Beauty

MAKEUP TODAY SHOULD BE REALLY MAXIMALIST; IT’S A WAY TO EXPRESS YOURSELF.” FRANCOIS NARS.

The Nars Cosmetics Fall 2010 shade palette is all about smooth, flawless skin with pops of unexpected color. Sexy, sophisticated and daring, Francois Nars takes his inspiration from British style icon and collector of Haute Couture, Daphne Guinnes. The campaign’s show- stopping photography reflects Nars’ desire to mesmerize and captivate his audience with an avante garde yet regal look displayed in a kaleidoscope of mirrored images

These unexpected shades arrest and inspire the eye, with names taken from mysterious far-off lands and domestic hot spots. Daphne, a deep shock of matte purple eyeshadow and frankly the star of the collection, is named after his inspiration and beauty muse. Try Mangrove contoured with Coconut Grove Eye Shadow finished with a stain of Rouge Basque on lips or Tzarine Eye Shadow duo with Strawberry Fields Lip Gloss. The collection’s cheek blush, Douceur, is sweet, gentle and delicate: a must have.

I use the Once Opened Beauty Expiration Kit to date my cosmetics. I found out that common permanent markers smudge off because of the oils in creams and makeup -the kit’s self laminating labels solve this problem. Kit comes with self laminating labels in a pretty pink pouch, ultra fine point mini permanent marker and a cosmetic life expectancy guide in a nice keepsake box. Check it out. https://www.onceopened.com SPECIAL $6.95 + Free S&H with Promo Code: user – beauty; pass – clean310
