(Preview) Dior Fall 2011: The Mitzah (Leopard) Makeup Collection

We previewed Dior’s fabulous new Blue Tie collection recently, but there is another side of Dior this fall, which is sure to be your fiercest look yet.

Embrace a little of the jungle and prowl the sidewalks this autumn with the brand’s inspiration by Dior’s muse, Mitzah Bricard. Focusing on her love of leopard print, this set features three new products, but just like the rare leopard itself, it’s limited edition and sure to disappear quickly.

The gleaming numbered palette containing the leopard spotted eye shadow features shades that are meant to blend together for a seamless look. The Camel shade is meant as a lid color, and can be applied along lower lash line as well. Next, apply the darkest shade, Ebony along the crease, and along upper lashline, softly blur shades so that it melds together with the camel shade. Lastly, apply the Nude shade along browbone, and inner corner of eye ($90).

We are loving the two nail shades that are included in this collection. Ebony (912), a milky chocolate, and Camel (622), a delicious nude. Remember our earlier predictions where we showed “half moon” tips?  This shade would be perfect for light nails with darker tips. A retro 1940’s feeling, that makes us purr ($22).

There is also matching Diorshow Mascara in Golden Brown ($24.50) and a stamped 5 color Eye Shadow in Mitzah as well that retails for $60.

This will hit counters in September 2011 at Dior.com and Sephora.
Are you a fan of leopard print? Will you be spotted wearing these shades this fall? We can see this as a nice pairing to the Blue Tie collection.
