24 Jun (Preview) Tarte for “True Blood”: Something To Sink Your Teeth Into
Are you a “Truebie”? A True Blood fan? Are you anxiously waiting to find out what happened to Sookie at the end of Season Three? Do you almost wish Merlotte’s was a real bar? I do!
From one fang friend to another, I can’t wait to see Bill, Eric, and the gang back on Sunday nights. In the meantime, here is a little product offering to tide you over. Styled in a naughty black and red corset package Tarte introduces a limited edition True Blood Collection that is inspired by the show. Housed inside the eye shadow palette are 17 luscious shimmering and smoky shades to create an innocent or seductive gaze ($52).
The 17 limited-edition eye shadows feature names like: The Light (shimmering warm ivory), Fairy (shimmering pink), Dusk (matte warm taupe), Dawn (shimmering gold dust), Werewolf (matte chocolate), Waitress (sparkling pink champagne), Nocturnal (sparkling deep indigo), Charmer (sparkling burnt copper), Glamour Me (sparkling deep plum), Stake (matte steel), Bayou (shimmering golden tan), Telepath (sparkling warm rose), The True Death (sparkling silver), Immortal (sparkling midnight black), Moss (shimmering forest green), Legend (deep matte black), “V” (sparkling crimson).
Tucked inside the box is a specially- designed Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara, EmphasEyes Aqua-Gel Eyeliner, and Lifted Natural Eye Primer all bearing the True Blood logo.
There’s also Tarte’s LipSurgence lip tint in Bold Red ($24) and a specially designed Natural Cheek stain, also in Bold Red to match ($30). These will surely make you feel like you wanna “do bad things.”
What’s even better is that this special collection was created by non other than True Blood’s very own Brigette Myre-Ellis, head of their makeup department.
The collection is available now at sephora.com and HBO’s online store. Season 4 of True Blood premieres Sunday June 26th.
