(Review, Before and After Photos) Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

As far as concealers go, Maybelline’s new Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer gets our two thumbs up in terms of dramatic transformation.

The new concealer has a micro-corrector application that micro-fills and smooths imperfections. It has an active formula with Haloxyl, and promises to combat the evil three: puffiness, dark circles and shadows.

While many concealers have been promising these fabulous results, few deliver. Some concealers don’t last throughout the day, and some just address one or two issues, seldom all three. Since it is marketed as a treatment concealer, it also works to correct the problem over the long haul — a major plus.

If you look at our model’s Before and After photos, you can definitely see a different in how the under eye area looks. Here she is wearing the shade #20 Light Pale:

Another plus for this is the number of shades available — from fair to medium to dark, Maybelline really has all women’s skin tones covered. There is a brightening element to the concealer that adds a luminous touch, and the way it blends and wears looks natural too (you don’t have to do any work with your fingers because of the sponge tip applicator).

For $8.49, this is a good concealer to have. The bottle ensures you’ll have this for a long time — at least 3-4 months. Purchase this in drugstores or online retailers.

What’s your concealer of choice and why? Would you try Maybelline’s latest invention?

The before photo has to much shadowing but i’m willing to try anything. I’ve had seriously dark under eye circles since i was 21.They don’t go away no matter how much water i drink or how much sleep i get. I’m hoping for a miracle product like this to try.

Any company that has to resort to using lighting in the Before shot to accentuate shadows, and then using lighting to brighten the After shot… makes me skeptical.

This sort of trickery in the Before & After photos is so obvious to us potential customers… if the product actually works then why would you resort to these tricks to “prove” the product?
