(Review, Before/After Photos, Swatches): M.A.C. Future Face Careblend Pressed Powder

This week ushered in the first way of spring. The sun is shining and even though the temperatures have had their ups and downs, lawn care men continue to stop by wanting your business and the BBQ invitations start rolling in.  I am not a fan of cold weather so I welcome the weather and who doesn’t love enjoying time with friends with the grill going and a cocktail in hand?

This is also the time of year where you want to look your best when attending BBQs, picnics, outside weddings and other events but you don’t want to look a mess. Natural is fabulous. Sweat dripping foundation is not so glam.

I recently was introduced to M.A.C.’s Studio Careblend Pressed Powder –a product that will be added to my Spring/Summer must-have list! Part of the Future Face collection, this powder is meant to give a fresh, smooth and invisible finish and as you can see from my photos, it does just that!  The photo on the left shows my face free of makeup and on the right I am wearing M.A.C’s Studio Careblend Pressed Powder, a little mascara and lip gloss. The difference is truly remarkable. The proof is in the photos.

Not only does the powder provide color correction and flawless coverage but it has a great staying power too. With minimal makeup and a flawless natural look, I am now ready for those outdoor spring/summer invites.

M.A.C. Studio Careblend Pressed Powder can be purchased at M.A.C. counters and maccosmetics.com for $23.

Is the powder meant to be used alone? In summer days when I want to wear only powder I use my MAC studio fix in medium dark. It’s full coverage and it controls the shine. Thanks

This is perfect. I am a MAC girl and I’m into all the new innovations in foundation formulas. I have an oily complexion, I need coverage that is matte as well as natural, smooth finish. I would love to try this. My shades are between NW 45 and NC 50. Can you feature a before and after for dark and deep complexions? Or If I can win this, I’d be happy to show a before and after photos?
