Blurs are trending! I was able to sample this product at my local Rite-Aid, and upon coming out of the sample packet, was completely turned off by the texture of L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur ($24.99)! I decided to still apply it to my face for reasons unknown — and I am so glad I did! Within seconds I saw my fine lines disappear and become less noticeable on my “11”‘s and forehead, along with my crow’s feet.

Its texture is quite thick, yet, when I rubbed it between my hands before application, it became soft and easy-to-apply. After reviewing the fabulous Nanoblur product, I came across this in my local Rite-Aid. Put to the test, Nanoblur seemed to reduce more lines and made more of a “blur”, yet, I only took a sample packet of this product and it did work within seconds.

Some people would not like the texture of this product, but in order to “blur” the fine lines and wrinkles it must have some weight to it. It did apply silky and smooth, and I love looking more youthful sans fillers. It is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of pores by over 22% and also helps in the reduction of oil.

It provides an overall matte look, as you can see in my B&A pictures. I cannot believe I am showing you a sans makeup face but how would you know the progress of the product if I don’t show you what I start with?! Yes, I have tattooed lips and brows and hardly sleep more than five hours a night. Truth be told, I did not love any pictures of me, but I needed to show the effectiveness of this product to our lovely BeautyStat readers.

Available at chain, drug and mass market retailers and online at www.loreailparis.com. It  can be worn alone for a soft-focused effect or underneath makeup (sampled/pictured) for a beautiful finish.

I just got a test tube to try for a week then give my feedback. Like you I wasn’t thrilled with how it came out–almost like a deep hair conditioner. It felt a little weird going on, but it did give me an all over even-ness to my face. Also, I noticed my foundation held true to its color and stayed put a but longer. I DID find it worked amazingly well with mineral powder foundations! Yeay on that one. I love L’Oreals Revitalift skin care line, and this is the one extra product I was looking for–a daytime smoother with an SPF protection!!

I purchased BLUR about five days ago. I’m 63 and my skin is in pretty good shape as I do regular cleansing, moisturizing, facials and peels. I immediately noticed a difference when applying it. The only way I can explain it is that it did BLUR fine lines and larger pores. While I can’t say that I look a day younger, I do think that I look a better 63! I use Bare Minerals. I applied BLUR rather sparsely, and then put on my powder. Bare Minerals went on just fine without any stickiness (of which I was concerned). BLUR is a bit difficult to squeeze out of the tube. I only used maybe a pea sized amount and I applied a thin layer all over my face. I am going to be taking it with me to my Aesthetician to have her evaluate it as I do not want to do anything to set back how nicely my skin has improved. Right now, I think that this may be a product that I’ll use for quite some time. It simply BLURS fine lines and pores. I think I’m sold.
