18 Jun Review, Before/After Photos: Talika Skin Retouch (Primer) For Face, Hands And Neck
Talika Paris has launched Skin Retouch products that claim to be inspired from photo retouching techniques. I have many friends that are incredible retouchers (you know, the ones that keep you looking like you, not Photoshop disasters), so I had to put this to the test as it implied I would have flawless skin after just one use of application. Retouching happens often, so one never knows truly if a product does what it claims to unless tried by themselves or people whom they trust. I have tried hundreds and hundreds of products that make claims such as this and I certainly wanted to see what this line was all about…
First, I applied my Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment moisturizer ($105.00). Then, I unlocked the Skin Retouch Face ($49.00) product and as it came out of the bottle, I was encouraged to use the spatula to spread the product evenly starting from the center of my face towards the outside and then leaving it to dry for 30-seconds before applying my other cosmetics. To me, it felt thicker than my usual primer and at first wondered if it would bother my sensitive skin. Thirty seconds later, it did appear to make my skin more evenly toned and flawless in appearance!

You can see in my after picture that my skin looks even. It also made it easier to apply my other makeup as the Skin Retouch Face seemed to act as a thin film on top of my skin. I was also delighted that throughout the day I had no irritation or blemishes from the product. I do believe it looks as if it erased my wrinkles and concealed my large pores. Overall, I liked the smooth appearance of my skin and will gladly be adding this to my daily regimen.
Talika Tip: This product can be applied on your makeup throughout the day for a quick touch-up, just not over powder as that tends to cake! All Talika products can be found on their website at www.talika.com.
