(Review, Swatches & Giveaway): L’Oreal One Sweep Eyeshadows

What a fabulous concept! One sweep of the brush and three shades appear on your eyes, just like that! I was pretty excited when I heard about the new One Sweep Eyeshadow, part of the L’Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Professional collection. L’Oréal introduces this eye shadow trio that provides a multi-shade shadow look in one easy step. The palette and contoured applicator is designed to pick up just the right amount of shadow to define, color and highlight your eyes for a professional look.

l'Oreal Paris One Sweep

It should take a simple sweep from the inner to outer eyelid and the shadow should be distributed just as though an expert just worked their magic on your eyes from lash line to brow.

Each palette is designed to complement the shade of your eye color. Choose shades for your Natural or Playful versions for blue, green, brown and all eye colors.

Even though I found this to be a fabulous concept and gorgeous colors, the “one sweep” did not work for me. As you can see from the photo above, I applied one palette to each eye. Rather than exhibiting three different shades, the shades combined into one. I still loved the colors and would wear them again, maybe not one on each eye like above.

Each eye shadow retails for $8.99 at mass retailers.
We are giving away two One Sweep eye shadows to two lucky winners. Please leave a comment below and tell us your eye color to be considered. Good luck!

I think it’s a neat idea — would like to try it to see if it is doable w/ practice. If so would definitely save time. Green eyes.

Blue Eyes. I think it is worth a try. Being a mom of 4 little ones I don’t have alot of time to for makeup, but I try my best. 🙂

I love trying new things and anything that makes getting ready to go out easier is right up my alley. My eyes are brown.
