Are you looking for a luxury, reasonably priced line that doesn’t test on animals in any way shape or form? Catrice is the company for you. Catrice got it’s start in Germany by Christina Oster-Daum in 2004. Driven by commitment to bring hard working cutting edge cosmetics to the masses, they have grown to be a force in over 50 countries. In 2015, they came to NYC and continue to bring edgy makeup to the masses. They care about people who love makeup and are determined to bring it to everyone at a great price. Just because the price may be great, don’t be fooled. These products are long wearing and beautiful.
Two products I was able to play with were the Cushion Lip Gloss ($6.49) and the Gel Eyeliner ($6.99). I usually don’t care for high shine lips. They tend to bleed on my lips and don’t last longer than an hour. Not the case with Catrice Cushion Lip Gloss. I put on the gloss, and it lasted for hours. Coffee, water and no time to retouch during my day. I was thrilled with the wearability of this product. Great color selection too!! Pictured below are Absolute Razzbury, Rather Be At Coachella, Better Make A Mauve (my favorite shade), What Happens After Midnight and A Little Soulfruit. My dry lips soaked up this avocado infused, medium pigment gloss.
